Oasis Montreal International Marathon - Sep 9 - Montreal, QC, Canada Laban Moiben of Kenya, the runner-up at the 2007 Country Music Marathon, won the 2007 Montreal Internation Marathon in 2:15:29. 2006 runner-up Essemlali Elhoussine of Morocco again finished second in 2:18:28. Said Regragui was third in 2:23:26.
In the women's division, Defending Champion Wioletta Kryza of Poland, who was also runner-up at the 2006 Detroit Free Press International Marathon, was the repeat winner in 2:43:25. Asahssah Malika of Morroco finished second in 2:47:38. 2006 runner-up Aziza Louafi of Morroco was third in 2:55:37.
