Let’s meet where the continents meet :
As the Istanbul Eurasıa Marathon starts from the Anatolian side of Istanbul it ends at the European side while taking the runners to the most beautiful spots of town, signing its name under a touristic attraction as well.
The Bosphorus is one of the most beautiful spots on the world and as you run through it, history of the centuries run with you on the streets.
Istanbul, çity of history and nature. Continues to gain a great deal both to sports and tourizm through Eurasia Marathon.

We are happy to invite you to the 27. Intercontinental İstanbul Eurasia Marathon, the only marathon to run between two continents -Europe and Asia. İstanbul is one of the oldest settlements on the world. What about participating in the Eurasia Marathon which takes place in the most beautiful places of a wonderful city that has been the capital of three empires.
INFORMATION
HOW TO ENTER Please complete all information on the entry form and return it. Please print clearly. Entry fee will be paid when you pick up your race number in Istanbul.
TRANSPORTATION Marathon Morning, the buses will be ready in front of the Marathon Office (Kadırgalar Cadde Kucukçiftlik Lunapark Karsısı Dolmabahce) to take foreign runners to start point (Departure time is 07.30 a.m.)
THE BAGS OF RUNNERS You may leave your bag in the bus that you arrived to the start point. These buses will be at marathon office, before you finish the race.
T-SHIRT AND MEDALS Marathon, 15km and Public Race finishers will be presented with a special Istanbul Eurasia Marathon T-shirt and medal
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS You must be 18 years of age or older on race day. October 02, 2005, to register for the Marathon.
PASTA PARTY City Hall (Municipality Building at Saturday, 01 October 2005 at 18.00. Everybody can take part in the Pasta Party (Entrance is free) address : Saraçhane - Fatih
COURSE SUPPORT Water&Sponge and refreshment station every 5th km.
MEDICAL SUPPORT 25 Ambulance on the course and a Tent Hospital at the finish area

THE COURSE The course is asphalt, mostly flat and will be free of traffic. And the only course in the world where you can run two continents with one race. Istanbul Eurasia Marathon Starts on the Asian side of the city, crosses the Bosphorus Bridge, which will give you an outstanding view of Istanbul, and passes many historic sites including the blue mosque of Hagia Sophia and the Bosphorus, lands in Europe. In all, the race crosses three bridges, one over the Bosphorus and two over the Golden Horn linking the European section of Istanbul.
